LAURA KASTIN

Laura Kastin became enamored with the potter's wheel while in college. She studied at Pratt Institute, The City College of NY, and New York University. After many years of teaching in private and public schools she now works full time in the studio and has started to focus on projects in handbuilding and sculpture.She has exhibited in regional and national shows and has had experience with a variety of firing techniques including raku and wood firing. As a ceramic instructor Laura says "I'm always excited to see my students respond to the excitement of working in clay and to watch their skills develop and grow."
