SESSION 2 REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL!

Dear Claymakers, we apologize to anyone who may be visiting our site in hopes of booking a class. We appreciate your interest in our community studio. As a courtesy, we offer current students the opportunity to rebook into their current class during a brief pre-registration period. We have 84 seats for classes each semester and by the end of this pre-registration period, all but 4 were filled. And by 9:06am we were fully booked. We can never predict how many folks come back, and some sessions offer more opportunities than others for new students to join us. Our next registration opens up to the public on May 8th at 9am. Thanks for being here.

If you are looking to join our kids and teen classes you can do so here.

2025 CLASSES

About Our Classes

Classes are typically 10-weeks long, run for 3 hours and are designed to accommodate all levels of clay experience. The day and time that you select is the class that you will attend for the duration of the Session. There isn’t a formal syllabus, but classes are full of personal instruction, group demonstration and peer support. Classes run for 3 hours and all students are welcome to sign up for an additional 3 hour open studio session each week. Topics include working on the wheel, hand-building, trimming and glazing. Each student is offered 1 make-up class per session.

A 10 week session costs $500.

Students are welcome to bring their own tools or purchase a toolset from the studio at the start of the session. Firing is charged $0.06 per cu in.

Registration

Registration occurs at designated time periods throughout the year and is offered on a first come, first serve basis. We have a short pre-registration window to allow any current students the opportunity to rebook the class they are currently in. Once the public registration date arrives, anyone is welcome to book. Spots typically sell out within 24 hours. If most of the spots are booked before public registration begins, we may not send a broad email out. The best strategy for joining a class as a new student is to check the website at 9am the morning of Public Registration (see Session details).
